Throwing Balloons

Three girls jumping for joy rampage to go get a balloon. Yay! Balloons at writing time! I grabbed a smooth, deflated black balloon and we headed over to the sink. I stretched out the balloon and put it on the tap head. I slowly and nervously turned on the tap and the balloon filled up with water. “Turn the tap off!” my classmates yelled at me. Panicking, I turned it off, and oh no! I didn’t hold on to the balloon. And suddenly there was a fountain of water in my hands. “AH, STOP THE BALLOON!”
I threw it in the sink to fountain water there, and everyone was laughing so much they had tears in their eyes! We got the balloon, refilled it with water, blew it up, and tied it up. “Come on, Hannah and Sophie!” I said excitedly. We sat down and cautiously rolled the balloon to each other. We said “AH! OH! JEEPERS!” We could hear the splashing water inside the balloon going side to side, up and down, as it jolted and jerked. We didn’t dare to throw it to each other, but we did dare to roll it to each other forcibly. After a couple of rolls, we went outside and then it happened. We threw it, and we all screamed. “AH! CATCH IT!” It was exactly like a hot potato. We saw it glide through the air, but then kaboom. It popped.

Balloon fun
Balloons at writing time! We have all been given balloons and instructed to fill them with water. The water squirted out of the balloon and all over Ollie. He nearly drowned! Once the balloons were tied, we set about rolling them across the floor to our partners. Annabelle and I were partners.

After that Ms Mac told us to go outside and throw our balloons to our partners
I felt quite nervous about this because what happens if the balloon doesn’t land in my hands and pops! This thought echoed through my head…
“But” said Ms Mac interrupting my thoughts “Don’t worry if it pops because you will have a popping time at the end”. I sighed no need to worry now.

“Are you ready Elise”? Questioned Annabelle. “Yes” I replied nervously.
Annabelle slowly arched back suddenly… Whack! The water swished round the balloon, flying into my face until my hand reached up and smacked the balloon back. Annabelle
caught the balloon and whacked it back to me. Time passed as we kept dropping the balloon but luckily each time it didn’t pop. Finally Ms Mac shouted “popping time!” I looked at Annabelle hopefully.

With our hands on the balloon, smashed it to the ground. Suddenly as the balloon was in the air Spencer ran across the balloons landing point and our balloon landed with a splash on Spencer’s socks and shoes!
They were soaked in icky sticky balloon pieces and swishy water!

Balloon Fun

Balloons at writing time!  We have all been given balloons, and instructed to fill them with water. The water splurted out of the balloon and all over Olly. He nearly drowned! Once the balloons were tied we set about rolling them back and forth to each other.

The cold, rubbery, black balloon was a quarter full. It jerked and zig-zagged its way across the colourful carpet to Ella. Then it oddly wiggled and tumbled its way back to me.

Next outside we passed the balloon to each other. The water splished and splashed as the balloon moved quickly and lively through the cold wind. It jiggled swiftly as the wind tried to push it out of our hands and alter its direction then all of a sudden…… POP!!

Ella had thrown the balloon at my feet and it had burst open. I looked at her with a sign of annoyance as she picked up the remains of the balloon and guiltily walked inside as I looked at my feet shoes and socks and sighed.

The water inside the balloon caused it to move more swiftly through the air. It altered its path making it challenging for the other person to catch it and only a small touch sent the balloon flying to your partner.

Once the balloons were tied, we set about skidding the balloons back and forth to each other.

Inside it was"nt nearly going to explode on the soft floor. We had to go outside and threw it back and forth to each other. Hunter and Me through the balloon back and fourth our balloon did't pop until Ms Mac told us to pop them. I slammed it hard on the stoney ground making a splash with the water going everywhere on the concrete. I picked up the rest of my balloon and through it in the rubbish bin.

The balloon moved weirdly because it had cold water in it so when moves it will roll where the water takes it.

                              Balloon Fun

Balloons at writing time! We have all been given balloons and instructed to fill them with water. The water spurted out all over Ollie. He nearly drowned! Once the balloons were tied we set out rolling them back and forth to each other.

The balloon wiggled and wobbled, and the water swished and swayed like crashing waves in the sea. The water was very distracting.

Next we ran outside to pass the balloon. We stood opposite each other and were very cautious about not dropping the delicate balloon.

We gently threw it to each other ruggedly. The balloon went quickly like it was trying to make us drop it. Daphnie did a higher than necessary pass to me and the balloon tragically splattered onto the stony ground, creating a big puddle. Rest in peace balloon.

Alice and Emily were passing the balloon beside us and we decided to join them. Alice passed to Emily, Emily passed to Daphnie, Daphnie passed it to me and I passed it back to Alice. That lasted for a couple of minutes. Then when it was Daphnie’s turn to pass to me she threw too low and the balloon popped at my feet, squirting its water all over my shoes. I picked up the remains of the balloon and chucked it in the rubbish bin and ran inside to the warm classroom.

The balloon moved the way it did because the water inside the balloon was traveling faster than the balloon when it was rolling or in the air. The speed of the balloon when it was moving around in one way or the other was uneven so when the balloon was moving, the water pushed the balloon to make it go faster. It went too fast for me when I tried to catch it so it smashed on the cold hard ground behind me.

We all got a balloon and filled the balloon up with water got our partner  and started rolling the balloon to each other.
Then we went outside and threw it to each other we shook and threw the balloon and I threw the balloon to Jake. He just nipped the balloon with his finger but I did throw it quite hard. Then we went inside and started to write what we just did.
 Balloon fun  !!!

Rushing to not be the last person with wet clothes.Everywhere around as we heard balloons popping. It was getting intense! The water splashed around in our balloon waiting for a moment to escape.Being unlucky that time had come bang, splash the balloon popped all over Cara's shoe.We all laughed as we walked back inside, that was really fun playing with the water balloons.

Once the balloons were tied, we set about rolling them back and forth to each other. When we rolled the balloon it zigzagged left and right, stopped and started and wobbled across the ground.

Then after morning tea we went outside. We threw the balloon to each other. I threw the balloon over Aidan and it nearly exploded, after Aidan picked it up he accidentally threw the balloon over my head and it popped on the corner of the fence. When we hurled the balloon we could hear the water swishing inside the balloon. The balloon was kind of squishy and cold.

We rolled and threw the balloons back and forth to each other, the water in the balloon weighs it to the left or the right that's what made it go wonky.

Balloon Fun!

Balloons at writing time! We have all been given balloons and instructed to fill them with water.
The water spurted out of the balloons all over Olly.
He nearly drowned! Once the balloons were tied, we set about rolling them back and forth to each other.

The balloon rolled rapidly with a big swish! Looking like a crazy swirl
with all the water trapped inside.
The balloon automatically would dodge swaying underneath a table
The balloon wobbled and wiggled from side to side, awkwardly altering its path looking awkward.

As we rolled the balloon it flipped and bounced through the air.
Zigzagging between us the balloon would jiggle because of the water trapped inside.

We headed for the door and stepped outside with our balloon quivering in our hot hands like a shaking pup.
As the balloon flew through the air it would wonkily land into our hands. The balloon wobbled through the air then splash!!!
Water covered the ground and ragged pieces of rubber lay scattered all over. Like ripped pieces of a map.

We moved into a group of 4 enthusiastic girls. The balloon was heavier putting
It moved quickly to and fro crazily in the air!
Every landing it made was so rough and heavier than before.
Every throw was made with yelps in every throw waiting to see when it will pop!

Finally, splash!!!!! The last throw was delayed again! It’s like a curse!L
Every time the balloon would pop I would be the culprit covering my traps by picking up all the ripped and ragged pieces of rubber with water that covered the ground like a murder scene!
