Margaret Mahy Summary By Chelsea

Margaret Mahy Summary

By Chelsea

Margaret Mahy’s books are different, and sometimes unrealistic. She has quite good imagery that appeals to your senses.

She doesn’t use similes or metaphors very often, which sometimes makes her storys a bit boring. But what Margaret does often use are alliteration and adjectives. She likes to describe and dress her characters in fun and quirky ways.

Her problems in the story aren’t usually major problems, and her endings aren’t always very good either.

Margaret Mahy isn’t my favourite author, but she does have some cool books. I would recommend her books for younger readers both boys and girls who have big imaginations.
