Dick King-Smith is an author who was born on the second of march 1922 & raised in Gloucester, England. But Dick King-Smith didn't always want to be an author Dick King-smith fought in world war two in Italy and wanted to farmer,
Dick King-Smith main characters in the books I read were all animals. I like that since i'm a big animal lover. His characters usually find something out about another animal or themselves. In "Poppet" the main character Poppet was an elephant, Find out that there is no reason to be scared of mice and in "Daggie Dogfoot" Daggie (a pig) finds out that he can swim with the help of his friends.
Dick King-Smith likes to make hyperboles with allowing animals to talk in his stories. I like Dick King-Smith books because they are about animals the animals are trying to find out something they didn't know.
